State Funeral of King Alexander II

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom cordially invites the region of The North Pacific to the State funeral of

King Alexander the Second of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland,
and of the British territories and dominions beyond the sea, Tsar of Russia, Emperor of India

It is asked that any citizens of an invited region choosing to attend this service shows a level of respect for the family
of the late King Alexander the Second, who are currently in the mourning process. In order to attend the State Funeral, it will
be a requirement for an individual to attain Foreign Ambassador or Citizen masking to view the relevant section of the forum.
In order to spare this trouble, the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office recommends that a representative(s) is sent on the behalf
of the region, as opposed to a multitude citizens of the region; however anyone is free to attend if they wish to pay their respects.

The State Funeral will be held on the Second day of July in the Two-thousand and Thirteenth year Anno Domini.
The State Funeral will have a signing-in thread, in which anyone wishing to attend the service can express that they are doing so;
the service proper will take place later in the day. After the State Funeral service, there will be the reading of private eulogies, and an
area for public eulogies to be made by friends, family, and members of the population of the United Kingdom, both domestically resident
and a visiting Foreign national. This will be followed by the regional wake.

The State Funeral will be carried out under the Virtual Anglican Church of England by the Archbishop of Canterbury; and will be visible,
along with other threads, on St. James Street, The Anglican Church of England, St. Paul's Cathedral. Following the service there will also be a blessing by the Pope of the Virtual Roman Catholic Church on NationStates.
