As of today, Unknown is part of the Sovereign Confederation, a conglomeration of regions dedicated to the concepts of national and regional sovereignty, and rational politics. We believe this affiliation aligns well with our longstanding policies and will not infringe upon our military endeavors, and we are committed to the mutual defense of all member regions of the Confederation.

In recent news, Monarch Kshrlmnt Dion has reportedly been using the "The weirdest thing to happen to you today" pub thread as a personal diary. When questioned by reporters about this alleged misuse of public property, she told her interviewer to "get a life" and mocked his poor taste in clothing.
Angry citizens consulted the law of the land, Lex Deus Cruor, and discovered that the Archempress is immune to legal prosecution within Unknown. "This state of affairs greatly saddens us," said lawyer Endy Nickelbottom. "How such an unjust law came to be speaks poorly of the judgment of our legal experts, who, it seems, really do function as a rubber-stamp legislature."
Protestors converged on the Imperial Palace, where riot police were called out to control the crowds. According to a spokesman from the royal family, Archempress Kshrlmnt spared the protestors' puny little lives because their signs had been proofread and were grammatically correct.
Since her initial response to the incident, the monarch of the Unknown Empire of Incognita has not made any public appearances, though rumors report that she was seen in O'Riordan's tavern several evenings ago, sipping overly sweet tea and setting alight the pants of any guest whose beard was over three inches long. She did, however, spare any beard-offender who was wearing a skirt.
It still remains to be seen how this will affect Unknown's political climate, which is well known for its nonchalant and suspiciously polite authoritarianism. The economy, however, has seen a slight upturn due to unprecedented sales in rulers, beard trimmers, and skirts.
