I've had limited access the last 36 hours or so due to a blizzard that hit this area after midday yesterday. 13 inches of snow and 50-plus mph wind gusts do not help things.
There have been power problems, cable/internet problems, and what not, and I spent much of Tuesday getting prepared as I haven't been in a blizzard in several years. Apparently a lot of people chose not to heed the warnings to stay off the highways, because there have been some humdingers of multi-vehicle and tractor trailer truck accidents on the interstate highways overnight, and travel is still not recommended because the authorities are having a hard time clearing snow from the highway surfaces with all the blowing snow.
My net access is still erratic and the blizzard warning won't be taken down before midnight at the earliest, and the winds aren't expect to settle down until sometime tomorrow.
(And for records, this area had both record rainfall and snowfall for the day yesterday, and record snowfall for today.)
So if my access seems limited that is because it is in fact limited right now.
