DRUK Campaign (Vice-Delegate)

About a week ago, when McMasterdonia was running for delegacy, he had stated he would put effort to preserve peace through military relations with our allied regions. I believe, with his words, he has inspired us to the extent of his receiving a high majority of votes throughout TNP to be elected as the current Delegate.

Achieving peace is paramount to forming an influential, powerful, and a successful region. The immensity of TNP's influence, power, and recognitions proves that the region has achieved peace. Yet, I believe there is more room for improvement. Our region may be the most populous of nations, most influential of all nations and regions throughout NS, and most allied with regions outside of our frontiers. However, we are nevertheless faced with potential and imminent foes, using anonymous means to incessantly post unendorsement campaigns, Nazist accusations towards former and vice-Delegates, and raider nations circumventing our vicinity to engulf vulnerable regions. McMasterdonia has chosen the correct path to cope with our region's impending problems, and I intend supporting him by combining both of our ideas with support from our regional councils, assemblies, and our cherished voices of the TNP citizenry.

Internal turmoils are occurring, especially in forms of sporadic, intermittent, individual spams, because our region, despite its high ranking in NS, consists of only a handful of people, from the Councils, Assemblies, Envoys, Military Officials, and last but not least, our beloved Delegates being involved and constantly being active in our forum. Recruitments, or, in other words, winning the interests of TNP newcomers is crucial to making our forum, thus our region, a dynamic region of peace, where crime and chaos cannot exist on an outstanding, nation-threatening basis. That way, we can preserve security of our homeland, thus maintaining a much more widespread region of peace. Through this vice-delegational campaign, I hope to assist our beloved Delegate, McMasterdonia, in securing the high level of peace and prosperity that our nation, as the top 1% of Influence, Power, Population, and Pacifism, is supposed to have.

Thank you.

(I will be accepting any questions related to the campaign on this thread.)

1) Please could you specify what McMasterdonia said about preserving peace through military relations with our allied regions?

2) Can TNP's influence, power and success be measured? If so, how?

3) Can crime and chaos ever really be reduced to a low level of threat?

Do you have any experience which you feel would prepare you for the role of Vice Delegate, and how does it do so? What would be your main priority as VD? Do you feel that raiders should not be permitted in TNP, as your post kinda suggests?

Finally: Why shouldn't I vote for you?

1) He has stated he would further make ties with regions that have established embassies with our region, as well as those we are obligated to protect as a powerhouse within NS. By consolidating military ties, he has stated he would strive to maintain a peaceful environment for not just TNP, but also its regional allies. I intend accomplishing this goal primarily means of recruitment, which should be our region's first step towards strengthening our internal aspects, such as culture, economy, and industry in order to mitigate RMB spam incidents and Raider invasions of our allies caused by foreign foes.

2) Influence, power, and success of any nation cannot be accurately measured quantitatively; however, a relative and a qualitative measurement can be made through the region's type of government, behaviour of its citizens, and its level of stability. Our region is proudly known for its support of a progressively and democratically political environment, while respecting parties that are, in politics, diametrically opposite. We have a handful of highly experienced NS players and proud citizens of TNP upholding our superiority over other region around the NS globe. We have maintained external stability, as we have established alliances and embassies in our neighbouring and distant regions.

Internal stability is also prevalent; however, to further mitigate the ongoing crises of Nazist spams, propaganda, and raider attacks, a dynamic, enhanced internal stability as mentioned in my initial statement in this campaign is needed to repel them both physically and psychologically. They will not only not dare to irk our region, but they will also begin to shun our presence in not just our own region but also our allied regions.

My main priority as the Vice Delegate of TNP would be to enhance recruitment, which will, in turn, increase our level of culture and internal stability, thereby creating external stability through the repellence of raider invasions and attempts to wreak havoc on our region and our brotherly nations and regions.

Now, does this necessarily mean I oppose and disrespect all pro-raiders in TNP? By all means, no! I highly value TNP's acceptance of anti- and pro-raider citizens, not to mention its establishment of a raider party to respect all political views of all citizens of TNP. However, when a raider region, nation, leader, and/or a person continues to threaten, damage, and provide discomfort to our brotherly regions as well as ours in an aggravating, destructive, and NS rule-violating fashion, we will have to, abiding by our well-respected Constitution and Code of Conduct, counter them to ensure peace and safety of all of our allies and ourselves.

As of my TNP experiences, I am a current RA member, a NPA member, and an Ambassador for TEP. I have enough endorsements to be eligible to join the Security Council. However, I believe none of my current credentials is even remotely fruitful for helping to accomplish our goals and to refine the ideals of the North Pacific. McMasterdonia is currently striving to ensure stability of our region by stressing diplomatic ties with our allies. I would like to support him by ensuring stability within the region, as well as to enhance our culture. I believe what matters most, rather than honorary titles and accolades, is a clear, direct path set by us, as a whole, as unwavering citizens of the North Pacific, for a better future. McMasterdonia and I have a plan. We have the blueprint. Do not vote for me, if we do not plan to strive for a much needed future for our citizens and proud representatives of the North Pacific.

Funkadelia:
Are you aware that raiding is not in any way against NS rules?

Also, what do you mean by brotherly regions?
I did not classify raiding as being against NS rules. I have stated there may be some raiders, using unconventional, NS rule-violating methods to attack our allies, or, in other words, our brotherly regions.

How can you reconcile running for VD after having only been involved in the forum-side of things for less than a month? Indeed, what makes you the prime candidate for VD when others have more experience, understand the history of the region and ultimately the people you will represent?

I can wholeheartedly admit the fact most members in TNP I have encountered over the last month have more experience and time devoted to TNP, not to mention their understanding of the region.

I have, since a month ago, when I joined TNP, observed forums and ongoing relations of other regions. Though I believe TNP is the most influential and powerful in terms of population and military units, I intend providing forum improvements and recruitments, based upon services and features provided by forums of other regions. Lists include: RP, RP Wars, OOC Games and Activities, and new approaches to economy and industry.

Understanding regional history is an asset, and surely, it is a sign of knowledge; however, I believe knowing about the past may keep one in the ideas close to the past. I would like to lean towards ideas of the future, thus bringing about change in the region.

Thank you for answering so well! I don't necessarily agree with you but I respect your position.
