Hello, friends.

It seems it's time for bold visions and persuasive arguments again. I'm not very interested in arguments right now. So, I will just remember what my hopes for TNP are, and ask you pose me questions, and help me answer some of mine. I'd be grateful if the questions were more practical than political :)

I hope that TNP will build on what we've accomplished so far in 2012, and move forward to a point where we can confidently say that we are no one's battlefield but a united polity of our own, but neither are we a wasteland devoid of activity. If I'm retained in the Communications Ministry, I hope to help organize the TNP Wire as an institution respected across NationStates. To that end, do you think it would be wise to post copies with links on this forum, the nationstates gameplay forum, and perhaps others?

I'm interested also in getting a good welcoming system going, hopefully sending a helpful "welcome to the game, here are the several ways people play it:" type of thing, which notes the ways in which our Forum is entangled with several of them >_> I tend not to love writing things, but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Would any of you be willing to help with that? Or is the approach I'm suggesting suboptimal?

I will close with a poem.

Mostly harmless
Fairly willful
Slightly reckless
Highly skillful

Care to elaborate? :P

Given that your platform is distinctly harder to find holes in that I've found so far, I'll just ask what I'm asking everyone: Why shouldn't I vote for you? Everyone has weaknesses, so what are yours?

In 2009-mid 2011 (excluding the month or so of JAL's coup) we were no one's battlefield, and in isolation. We were also dead boring and dead inactive. I think we're finding a third way again*, and want to help build it up. *Again because I feel that in 2006 TNP had things pretty good, even despite a horrifically complex constitution, because we were pretty united and significant. I've heard some good things about 2003 to early 2004 as well, but of course that was a different epoch entirely.

I really let the region down, earlier. Perhaps I shouldn't be given the opportunity to possibly do so again, even with lesser responsibility.
