GO Transit is an inter-regional public transit system in Southern Ontario, Canada. It primarily serves the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) conurbation, with operations extending to several communities in the Greater Golden Horseshoe. GO carried 68.2 million passengers in 2014, and its ridership continues to grow. The GO network employs diesel trains and coach buses; it connects with all municipal transit providers in its service area, as well as Via Rail and the Union Pearson Express.
