It occurs to me that it might be possible to fetch the newsbox from a special post somewhere instead of an admin-only-editable pages/ page.

Thoughts?

There'd be a post somewhere that anybody with mod powers over could edit, and that post would be copied to the News Box up at the top of every page in the forum.

Ahh, reducing work load for full admins and putting it squarely in the hands of the Minster for News Boxes?
