So we're about three quarters of the way through the current term and I was wondering how our Delegate feels we are doing and if he could share any insight into where we are going?
 
I have been in bed with a severe cold for most of the last two weeks. And when one is consuming Nyquil for the damn symptoms it often is as bad as the cold.

Okay, I can understand the past 2 weeks with you being sick and hope that you are now feeling better.

However, I believe that the region would still like to hear your plan for December and what have been done during the past two months before the cold took you away.

Sir, there have been times where people have been away for a while without much response. Look at Dalimbar for instance. He hasn't been around to deal with the court cases, and won't respond to any queries given via TG, or IRC, least of all from me. I don't see people (other than probably myself and Flem) raising a fuss ....
 
Just a note that under current law the Delegate must establish an election calendar by December 3rd, which is fairly soon.

The Delegate must also appoint Election Commissioners by Christmas.

Sorry about not notifying anybody earlier...
 
Guess what, I already have a E.C. in mind so I'm ahead of the curve of most recent Delegates going back a couple of years.

Election calendar will be posted by week's end, my time, it's not even December 1st yet.

As far as I can tell all three Justices have been involved with Balder and Orisis (and our other Admin apparent has taken the Orisis delegacy.) AMOM was involved with Balder, IIRC. Orisis made a request for an embassy today, and I have approved the in-game request. Cakatoa should have one set up in the forums if it hasn't been done already.

Even if I hadn't been sick the last couple of weeks. not much could happen with so many of our officials being busy elsewhere in feeder politics away from TNP.

That's the difference between me and them. I'm here and haven't had any split loyalties to worry about.

But when a neutron bomb is on the RA floor waiting for a vote, it does make any other activities fruitless until that bomb is deposed of so that it will be safe for anything else to be done.

As to the cold, it's made it difficult to sleep because of the congestion in my throat (seen the doctor and had the shots as flu season started, so we're not concerned that it is the flu or pneumonia; it's just a nasty cold. When I have those things, it is hard for me to focus on writing more than a short paragraph without losing my train of thought, so I tend to read and response to the most urgent things.

I check ingame several times a day as to endorsements to cover any new nations and to gradually increase my levels; I've been at least at 260 for about the last ten days to two weeks and TNP has regained it standing at long last as the region with the most number of nations in it in the game. That hasn't been the case for a long time so we as a region should be pleased that has happened.

This is what makes you so frustrating to work with, Gross.
 
I actually don't think AMOM, for example, has actually been that busy in Osiris or Balder. He's been a little involved in some MPA things however, I suppose.
 
I've been involved in TP, TEP, the MPA, the election in Osiris (which was around a month ago), and TNP. If I hadn't had time to tend to my duties in TNP I wouldn't have taken on the other tasks.

I encourage you to find one example of tardiness to tend to or neglect of my duties in this region, Gross. You might find a few extremely minor examples, but otherwise I think you'll have a fairly difficult time with that one.
