It would be helpful if you could report back on the technology being used in your various embassies newsgroups - all BBCode? could you embed some HTML, or maybe attach a PDF? Just thinking about options for next time. Video? Podcast?
 
On the Pacific and Taijitu and West Pacific forums, alterations had to be made to stop using [ big ] and in some cases to remove the spoiler label. In addition some doubled up [ center ] tags had to be removed for the Pacific and the West Pacific.
 
It may speed things up for posting the regional updates in our embassies, if we have the "raw" text in the code tags so it's a easy copy and paste.
Most forums use BBCode, including Zetaboards (Invisionfree) and Invision Power Boards.

As to the multimedia codes, I believe the tags are written the same (though I haven't tried it) but if the "raw" code different between the different forum platforms, that will be the area. From what I've been able to tell, the color name tags ("[color]") work fairly consistently.
Greater Peterstan, have you seen the color name list? Zetaboards supports most of the HEX color codes using names rather than the code. If you haven't seen it, I can give you the URL for the Zetaboards support article post on it. (I personally like using a lot of color when we can get away with it.)

I wouldn't mind taking Equilism as well since I used to be TNP's ambassador over there. I can also do Kodiak Republic and possibly TRR.
 
I think Kodiak Republic would be best, Govindia. Felasia, I'd appreciate it if you can take Laz and Equilism. I had someone in mind for TRR, as long as they notice this thread.

But I do agree that the Update should be posted using the ["code"] tags for reposting elsewhere.
