Yay for BBC dramas! I am totally addicted to the new Sherlock Holmes. OMG SO GOOD.
It is awesome. I want more.

Last four years...
  • worked my way up the corporate ladder until I reached a point where they wanted to give me more responsibilty for less money, which I declined; trying to recover politically and hovering just below being someone important at work ever since.
  • spent the last three summers driving my son around western Canada as he follows his baseball dreams
  • took up jogging then realized it would be way healthier if I stopped
  • loved and lost a couple of times and settled happily into spinsterhood
  • apparently did a whole lot of nothing that I will regret when I get the six-months-to-live notice from the doctor

got a bf (who i totally did not stalk through the internets)

That's suspiciously specific.

Anyway, in no particular order:

  • Went to another University to do a Masters
  • Finished at University (sort of)
  • Found out exactly how long you can drag out a thesis after supposedly finishing from a university
  • Visited London (Twice - once passing through on the way to Bedford and the other a proper touristy visit)
  • Played "Baker Street" on my walkman when going through the station on the Underground (That's at least one thing crossed off my to do list)
  • Played "London Calling" on my walkman going into London (twice - another one crossed off)
  • Lived on my own in a house....and then moved into Uni accommodation as soon as physically and financially possible.
  • Stayed with another pet dog as he was put to sleep
  • Worried about my Dad when he had a Heart attack on New Years Day last year. (Great start to the year that was <_< )
  • Got a part time job
  • Been manhandled by a fair number of young women in skimpy clothing
