Hi all,

Never, in the field of human conflict has so much .... no, wait, that one has been done.

Thanks for voting me in. This was one of the most interesting elections in TNP history as the candidates had clear water between them in terms of vision and policy.

I have started endotarting - no easy job when many of the scanning tools I had access to in the past are not around. If anyone has even a printout of the UN nations in TNP I would love to receive it by PM. It would make my job much easier.

Over the next week you can expect the forum to change. It will become much less cluttered, much more focussed on the fun threads. Play and enjoy, my pretties. It's time to party.

I have somehow managed to be second in the region in endos, without having ever sent a telegram. That has got to be some sort of record in TNP. And I I've done is look at who has endorsed the Delegate de jour and followed along.

(I'll try to keep that up until Tuesday, but at that point it'll depend on what restrictions my eye surgeon may place for the following week or so.)
 
hey, Flem, wonder if we can have a more appealing flag for TNP? I mean, compare with other Pacifician's flags I think TNP really need something more attractive to keep nations flowing in and stay :P

Over the following weeks I will be setting various population goals for the region. Over time we become a squeaky-clean region consisting entirely of WA's and forum-goers by ejecting the rabble.

The current population aim is to have the region under 1500 nations by next Wednesday.

It's a cute attempt, but with his level of influence, it won't last long. And BW is correct: this is merely JAL being JAL.
 
JAL really doesn't get it, does he? Such tactics end up hurting a feeder region such as ours, and it is just plain stupid. The problem for JAL is that those most likely to reject his behavior already have more influence than he does, and are experienced in dealing with rouges.

This is the first time I really feel soooo much at home again after having returned a couple of days ago to the forum.
 
Good to be back, eh? :P Just like Shoeless Joe's miserable "coup" earlier this year, it won't last long. He uses the regular rhetoric that has been used by "rogues" since Great Bights time, yet he doesn't have it in him to go for the long haul. It's, in my opinion, disappointing. I want a refund, darn it!
