3? I think not. BW didn't mention Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Nicaragua, Colombia, Costa Rica, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Israel, Netherlands, Italy, and Australia. :P
 
Germany won against Russia, 1-0.
It's the 12th country to qualify for the World Championship next year. Russia still has a chance, but it's not for sure.

I also didn't mention the IBAF which has 112 countries listed as having teams in which they hold tournaments each year. Plus I never even compared it to soccer. In fact I enjoy watching it. I watch the FIFA Cup every 4 years, the UEFA Cup every year, and Copa America. And believe me it is not easy to find games televised in America.

Yankees still need to figure out their fourth starter thing. Given the JTTP thing it looks like it'll be between Gaudin (who has pitched well for us down the stretch) and CC on three days rest. CC on three days rest has an ERA of 1.07 but last time he tried that a year ago his arm ended up imploding...
 
Yes. The fourth starter is something of a problem. And that JTTP thing, tsk, it is a bit of a bugger. Personally, I thing CCs ERA is the clincher in this matter, even given Gaudin's stretch-pitching prowess. Given the real risk of an imploding arm, 1.07 is too much to ask for.

Damn you, fourth starter!
