The place to let off steam...

Speaking on behalf of everyone, can I kindly request that SecuROM, DRM and likewise "All gamers are potential thieves" type software go and burn and fester in the lowest circles of Dante's inferno. I am convinced they are the work of Satan, or at least one of his evil minions. SecuROM has thrown a hissy fit at me for attempting to play the Kingdoms expansion pack for Med II, claiming it's not the right disc, when in fact the disc was legitimately purchased (from Amazon). What, you want me to show the disc to you? Hateseeth.
 
Seems very odd.

A coincidence though...I'm right into TotalWar (have every game haha)...when online, its where I am besides NationStates. Grand strategy ftw.

So I’d definitely be venting steam too.
 
I'm reinstalling Kingdoms to try and comply with the retarded software's wishes.

Ages ago we tried a co-op campaign in RTW.

Oh, while I'm on the subject - apparently Spore is infested with this Malware, and outrageously only lets you install 3 times. I hope the EA demonspawn who thought this up falls down a manhole.
 
Haha nice. I've been in the TW community for about 3 years now - though the Med2 online community has died quite tragically, given that Gayspy disallows most users from logging on to the lobby - so RTW has picked up speed.

Empire: Total War will be released very soon, though.

(Oh damn. Perhaps thats a game Phedre and her minions would thoroughly enjoy.)

Probably, but it was the best I could come up at the time. Fortunately, after a reinstall, it works! Although it didn't install the Teutonic campaign, so I can't play as Germans wearing funny hats.

Empire will likely make my computer asplode, Rhindon! I've only just gone back to M2 after a RTR campaign as The Greek Cities. Nothing like spreading 'civilisition' across the known world!

Aaargh. Bloody Deadmines. Bloody Defias coming at you out of nowhere. And what is it with gnomes driving robots? And party members who soulstone out of instances just when you need them. Aargh.

Also, Argh! People who cook on the weekends with the stuff I had all planned out to cook with during the course of the week. I bought 24 sausages to make some sausage potato soup, thinking no family of 5 would eat 24 sausages all in one weekend. No one told me they were going to a party and planning on taking a meat tray. And since when do people put giant Italian sausages on a meat tray? Also, what the hell am I supposed to do with all these potatoes?!
