Banned by Lewis and Clark

In Franco's day, NationStates was. as Kandarin put it later, a place "Where shooting wars are usually decided in a night," and "We rarely see a full conflict dragged out. " because the Delegate could eject any number of nations freely.

Today the story is quite different. As I've said before, Lewis and Clark simply cannot expel Great Bights Mum or any number of others threatening his position. We are in a war of attrition.
 
And as someone (I think it was general Hague) once said ... "A war of attrition is won by the person who cares the most."

I do not really think that Gatesville cares more than we do about TNP.
 
I agree. I don't think Lewis & Clark cares much either. I am still shocked and amazed that he booted an applicant to his House of Lords. Without giving him a reason why.
 
Umm...not to point out the obvious, EM, but isn't that a massive contradiction? If something holds sentimental value, you obviously care about it.

And I hope the irony of posting in the Ban List is not lost on you...
 
Hmm, sentimental in a kind of interested way.

I think there is a difference between seeing The North Pacific as an interesting, sentimental object as it was briefly "mine", and caring about what happens to it.

As for the irony, this always was my favourite forum. Reading "my" ban thread still makes me laugh, and so did the 'Banning of Dereanta" thread, considering that was a puppet of mine that I had loaned to TCM. I am disappointed however that this thread is three pages longer than "mine".
