My opinion? The recent coup was an act of utter stupidity that boggles the mind. L&C declares the Constitution null and void and declares himself king? You victimized yourself by playing into his grab at total power. I give it two weeks before he falls. Take my word for it. I know exactly what is going to happen. I've seen it before, but not with such accelerated action.
I've been in TNP since, what's it been? Nearly six or seven years or however long since Nationstates has been in existance? Dictators, kings and emperors come and go, but Democracy always prevails. All we have to do is to a brief while and things go back to normal again.
You know, if I had a dollar for all of the times over the years I have been offered total power in TNP by various groups who would have made me Delegate if only I would betray my friends and sell my soul for a brief moment of bogus glory, I'd be rich.
L&C betrayed people who were his friends, he betrayed the region, and worst yet, he betrayed his trust as an elected official. The irony is that he will inevitably betray those who support him now, like you do, and leave them twisting in the wind.
So, you want to know what I think of the recent coup (and you named it exactly what it is - a coup and not an act of anyone's will but L&C's)?
I don think much of it.
