What is worse than regional adverts?

I think everyone agrees, with differing degrees of passion, that regional adverts on the RMB are an irritant. But I must admit that at the moment I feel that the posts being made with the express purpose of removing the adspam are, if anything, getting even more irritating.

What is the point of having a RMB is all we are going to have on it is the following:

Bump
bump
another bump
bump

etc.

or a list of vegetables?

What is the point of removing the adspammers, if it means having a succession of posts by the same player?

To use a gardening analogy, it is a bit like weeding a flower bed. There is no point in doing it if you are going to leave the ground fallow. The weeds will just grow up again. The only point in weeding is if you are going to plant something constructive there.

Someone (I think it may have been Sydia?) said long ago that the only real point in reclaiming the RMB was if we were going to make use of it. Bumping for the sake of bumping is a pointless activity.

If it is a choice between the adspam and a player posting the word "bump" over and over again, I will take the adspam.
 
For example:

109 minutes ago The Felasia Puppet of Endlid Another Bump!
91 minutes ago The Armed Republic of Whereisthatistan Bump.
71 minutes ago The Felasia Puppet of Endlid Bump Again!
 
If that is what you want then please post something you want to talk about in the RMB. Anything: Sport, Politics, Work, School, Love etc.... Flame me if you want, I don't really care.
 
No doubt a 'bump' with nothing more is a waste of RMB space. Put a comment to it, so people know there's a reason. Talk about the weather, talk about elections, talk about Suzy Q.....

And multi-posting I can't stand.

But I also have a problem with pseudo RMB spam, that's probably worse - especially when you do it to your own region. Then again, it's a game, so have fun with that.

Oh, you mean like putting meaningless spam on an RMB just to push the adspam off?
