Defense Counsel would like to point out that it was being somewhat jokeful in its comment that an indefinite continuation would be acceptable.

It has been a further 10 days since the last comment from the Court and there are still standing motions to be addressed, along with a continued absence from the Prosecution, thereby supporting the standing motions.

If you would like we could call our associates and have the High Lord and Grand Inquisitor of The Pacific issue a bench ruling in your stead. It would be just as legitimate as the current ongoing trial in regards to adhering to the Constitution as it existed when the trial began.

In light of the absence of any active legal body or any active prosecutorial role in the region The North Pacific, The Pacific, represented herein by the Grand Inquisitor, hereby announces a verdict to TNP v. Emperor Matthuis.

The Court has little choice, in light of the complete failure of the Prosecution to provide any evidence to support the charges, but to find the Defendant NOT GUILTY on all counts.

Further, the Court would like to express its thanks to the legal offices of PPI Legal Services for their exemplary performance and dedication throughout these proceedings.

The Court now considers this issue closed. If an Admin could please close the thread so that we might all go about our business.

It is nice to see that there is some conclusion to this debacle, and this is a sad statement on the current state of affairs in TNP.

The Minister, former member of the Security Council, former member of the Regional Assembly, former Deputy Minister of Justice, former Minister of Justice, former Tyrant and Delegate of The North Pacific, has reached up with his dead hand and sign a writ of passage supporting the Judgement of Grand Inquisitor of Pierconium.

Since competence was a requirement we felt it best to dig him up instead of relying on the living.
