Next President?

"rooting" means having sex with someone over here so I'm appalled by this topic!! The concept of copulation helping a certain candidate or doing so with a political candidate in mind is thankfully a foreign one to me!! You Americans are weird!!

I believe in America "rooting" means "supporting". As I have no desire to have sex with any of the canidates <_<

That said I will change the wording just for you *sighs*

Pat Paulsen

Incredible Coincidences!

A recent study has revealed incredible coincidences linking Pat Paulsen to Abraham Lincoln...

* The names Paulsen and Lincoln both contain 7 letters.

* Lincoln was killed in Ford's Theatre.
Pat once owned a Ford (Maverick).

* Lincoln's secretary warned him not to go to the theatre.
Paulsen's manager warned him to stay away from all theatres.

* Lincoln was slain in the presence of his wife.
Paulsen's wife nearly killed him one night (in their Lincoln).

* John Wilkes Booth shot Lincoln at the theatre and hid in a warehouse.
Paulsen once lived in a warehouse.

* John Wilkes Booth has 15 letters in his name.
Patrick L. Paulsen has 15 letters in his name.

COINCIDENCE?
MAYBE.

DESTINY?
PERHAPS.

YOU DECIDE.

All of the candidates are awful. Especially Hillary, she's worthless and would be just another name perpetuating a do-nothing-good administration.

"Your pious mob fills up ballot papers and imagines it is governing its masters; but the ballot paper that really governs is the paper that has a bullet wrapped up in it.... Vote! Bah!! When you vote you only change the names of the cabinet. When you shoot, you pull down governments, inaugurate new epochs, abolish old orders and set up new."

Maybe Fulhead Land will see this. :)

I just hope that the Bush-Clinton dynasties and their inner circles can be kept out of it finally. I figure that's about the best we can hope for.

No you've got it wrong. Both parties will draft a non-candidate for their nominee.

It'll be Dick Cheney vs. Al Gore

The candidate with the best hair cut will win. Rember Nixon v. Kennedy, Reagan v. Carter, Reagan v. Dukakis, Clinton v. Bush, Clinton v. Dole.

Not sure on the Dems but I'd say Romny for the, don't like him, Reps too many of them have combovers so they're either hiding something or delusional.

I really think that the candidate most prepared to run this country, and i do mean that loosely, would be McCain. Hes tough, has the most experience, and with the current global situation, would be the most even keeled person to be called Commander In Chief.

I want to vote for none of the above.

Of course, I made a prediction on IRC yesterday, that it would be McCain/Huckabee. McCain then dies in office and we have Huckabee.

Didn't say it was a good prediction. And I don't often predict elections correctly. *chuckles*

I saw a breakdown of the apparent convention delegate counts for the republicans and there is no clear path for any of the candidates at the moment. Not with a five man race as it is now.

Hillary has the edge on the democrat delegate count, due to the superdelegates.

You're not the first peson ive heard that prediction from! McCain may be "best suited", but he sure is old! Then again, so is your avatar. ;)

I'm hoping it will be anyone other than Hilary. It doesn't say much for your boast that you're the greatest democracy on earth when you last 6 presidents will be Bush, Clinton, Clinton, Bush, Bush, Clinton!

McCain/Huckabee vs Hillary/Richardson is my prediction.

Paul/Buchanan vs Obama/Richardson is my hope.

At least I can stand Obama. I can stand neither McCain nor Hillary.

I saw a guy on the TV last night who I think would be good. He gave a brilliant speech at a rally. He is young, good looking, latino, eloquent. His wife is really witty and good looking too. His name is Matthew Santos. Why don't more people seem to be voting for him?

South Carolina Loss Jars Clinton to Ponder Pull Out

(2008-01-27) — After a crushing defeat in Saturday’s South Carolina primary, the Democrat who campaigned most vigorously, coming into the state with the strongest organization and the best name recognition, now ponders whether to stay in the race through Super Tuesday.

Associates of former President Bill Clinton privately tell reporters they would not be surprised if he announced, as early as this week, that he’s dropping his White House bid.

“He’s not getting the kind of traction he expected,” said one unnamed Clinton campaign insider. “I guess people just aren’t ready for the kind of change Bill Clinton represents.”

Officially, the campaign still says he’s “in it for the long haul, and in it to win,” but off the record many acknowledge that he lost momentum “shortly after he opened his mouth.”

If the former president does drop out, experts believe the most likely beneficiary would be New York Sen. Hillary Clinton.
