Seattle drivers suck

that's cuz it don't snow that often...

that, and they don't have snow tires....cuz it don't snow that often...

(reminds me of a time a guy got stuck 4 times on ONE block when it snowed in my area...yup. summer tires, and a compact car.)

There are bad drivers everywhere. I have noticed that there seems to be a concentration in states where there is a lot of snow, which causes people to think they are somehow better at driving in snow than the general public. Dangerous stuff.

Haha.  Nobody owns compact cars here.  Bad in the snow and they're for hippies.
Oh shut up! Better be a hippie than have a pick-up!

And how comes heavy cars are better for snow? That's the first time I hear that...

JALedit: Oops, I suck at modding. Accidentally editted this post rather than quote it >_>

Whatever JAL...

4x4, baby! The only thing to drive in the snow. Even I feel rugged and manly driving one.

Thanks, JAL! That clip was hilarious.

:hello:

And yes I am from Upstate New York and the snow driving is one of the main reasons my parents made us leave..SOOOO glad we moved before i had to endure being video taped whilst hitting every object within ten feet of my vehicle. Although
Florida is not much better...you just don't have a good excuse for not knowing how to operate a motor vehicle.

Yup yup, heavy cars are better. People intentionally weigh down their pickup trucks for this reason. Hell, in all my years of living here I can only recall seeing one Korean car ever - and it was on the side of the road dead. You see an unproportionally large amount of heavy German sedans by comparison, especially given Montana's low average household income. Light compact cars slip around like hell.

I suppose then that people here are devilish good drivers?
They mostly have compact cars, and nothing bad happens.

Also, when I do drive (which is very rare), it is a 4X4, and oh miracle, I can make it slip. Even without snow. Such a fun!! Needs a bit of petrol, though...
What else...ah yeah, there are numerous compacts with 4X4 drive?

People weigh down the back end of their pick ups when they have a front wheel drive pickup to put more weight on the back tires to keep from fishtailing, not to weigh down their pick up in general. And maybe you don't see a lot of "hippie" cars because of that very attitude wherein compact cars are exclusively for hippies, you filthy midwestern cowboy.

Pfft... I've driven through weather a lot worse than that with my Ford Escort ZX2. Definitely not 4X4 or big, and I only use all weather radials. Its great to see all the rednecks with their big trucks and the yuppies with their SUVs struggling to make it up hills, or get out of the ditch while I pass them in my sports compact. Oh, and drifting through snowbanks is fun, too. But the best is losing control on a hill and doing a bunch of 360 spins on the way down.
