In real life, the player behind Cruithne (wife of Flemingovia) is now a district councillor in British local government.

Bugger Canadian world domination. By Tuesday she will have taken Europe, and the world will surely follow.

Edit: To be clear, congratulations are most definately in order. :)
 
Cru is currently buried under paperwork. The papers for a council meeting are a spiral bound block of A4 papers about two inches thick - slightly bigger than a university PhD thesis - and she gets four of these a year, plus all the papers from other committees.

There is a shedload of stuff to learn to get up to speed, since councils work by abbreviations and acronyms. So she is sitting up reading most evenings that she is not out.
