Now, since I am an ignorant American, I don't know much about what is going on across the pond. What do you think? Is this good news? Bad news? And how does he compare with Chirac?
 
Because for EM, Royal stands for unacceptably social politics (all those fancy things the rest of the world should be envious of, like proper health insurance).


What really shocks me though is that Le Pen found even one person here who would have voted for him. Matthuis, are you fully aware of all the things Le Pen stands for ? I hope not...

And with the results of today's parliament elections, Sarkozy will go nuts with reforms...we'll see what happens to good old France! After all, she is an old respectable lady, she mustn't be poked around too much! :yes:

The conservative UMP, of which Sarkozy is the leader, had a landslide victory today, up to 43% are possible. But at this hour there are no official results yet...
