Lectures and Seminars - This is, effectively, the true "classroom" portion of the University. As such, good, heated debate is always welcome, but we need to ensure that we remain respectful of the participants and their viewpoints - personal attacks will NOT be tolerated. The only people who should post here are those instructing or participating in an offered course - this is not the place for suggestion or request threads.
University Administration - Matters pertaining to the operations side of the University - te aforementioned suggestion or request threads should go in this forum. This will, hopefully, allow us to use the L&S forum more as the pure academic area it is intended to be, without the bickering that seems to pervade elsewhere.
Until codified by the Regents, this is merely my tyrannical exposition, to be enforced by yours truly. Any questions, tough.
