Please post votes on the nomination of Democratic Donkeys for Chief Justice in this thread. A separate discussion thread for the confirmation vote will be placed in the main Election Forum, as is the usual practice on Court nominations.

Voting will open at Midnight, Saturday January 13, 2007 (7:00 p.m. Friday January 12 2007 EST, 4:00 pm PST) and will end at 11:59 pm GMT Friday January 19, 2007 (6:59pm EST/3:59pm PST). A quorum of the Regional Assembly is required to participate in the referendum.

Note that the two nominations are being voted on in separate threads, and a vote in one thread does not count in the other thread.
 
On the motion to confirm the nomination of Democratic Donkeys as Chief Justice beginning 1 February 2007 and ending 31 July 2007, a quorum of the Regional Assembly has appeared and voted.
The vote is as follows:

Abstain.....2
The nomination has been confirmed, and Democratic Donkeys is appointed to serve as Chief Justice for a term that begins on 1 February 2007 and ends 31 July 2007.
