Nominations are now open for the award for Favorite Newcomer.

This award is for the favorite new member to the forums.

In order to qualify for this award, a member of this forum must:
  • Have registered since the last ceremony, on September 18, 2005.
  • Receive at least two nominations.
Anyone registered on the forum may nominate any other forum member for this award. Nominations will close five days from now, at around this time or whenever I actually get around to closing the topics.

Uhh, Hers? Your post says that this award is for the favorite quote posted on the forums.... Might wanna edit that out. I'm curious about the time cutoff, too. Wouldn't any new person since the last awards count as a newcomer?
 
I was also thinking that Hers.

I could think of some people who are new and that I'd like to nominate but they came too early, which makes no sense for an award about being a Newcomer.
 
Yes, the time cut off seems a little stringent. And I'm assuming the quote reference is a copy and paste hang on. I hope.

Anyway, I'd like to nominate mental imagination (joined in September apparently), who I think is a welcome (if some what confusing at times :P) addition to The North Pacific.
 
Sorry, copying and pasting the same general post 17 times is guaranteed to have some mistakes somewhere. I'll fix it.

I'll extend the eligibility to the last ceremony as well.

I would have voted for Prop too but he joined back in April of 06
