So, if your nation discovered a new planet --

What would you name it and what do you think it would mean to the region?
 
I would put a string through my planet, North to South, and call my planet "conker".

I would then use it to smash any planets discovered by other nations.

Then I would climb a tall mountain, raise my hands to the sky, and cry "I will conker, I will conker you all!!!!!!!!"

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
 
I'd name the planet a string of curse words, just to spite Hersfold. ;)
 
I'd name my planet something with an X in it like Irixinia or Sirixis or Xyratis. Or maybe I'd just name it Planet X.

As to how it would affect the region, I suspect everyone else would be very jealous and say petty things behind my back.

Whatever happened to Sirixis anyway? Or did I miss a change of name, departure notice, or whatever...

Its a well known fact that all matter, be it discovered or not, is property of The North Pacific anyway. And I've got a rubber stamp to prove it...
 
And, while we're waiting for the next map update, here's the first survey of the new planet. The ice coverage is believed to be normal for the winter of this world — despite early supposition that the planet was experiencing an ice age.

What if you discovered a new simulated planet that had its own game system that provided realistic simulations of politics, economics and military activities, but which was as simple to play as Nation States?

Would you want to rule part of such a planet? What would you do?

What would you name it?

The planet does exist and does not yet have a name.
