If you can't beat them .... copy them
There comes a point in every relationship when the question gets asked: "Should we get married/move in together?
The NPO and Gatesville have clearly reached that stage in their deepening affection for one another. Today Emperor Ivan Moldavi announced to the world that the two regions were uniting to form BOSS .... the new fragance for men*.
At least, that is the first thought that jumped into my mind. But it turns out that BOSS is not the latest in Nationstates male grooming; no, it is:
Dispelling all thought of cheap aftershave from my mind, I immediately thought to myself "I have heard this somewhere before. This sounds remarkably like ACCEL and the Meritocracy, organisations that recentlyincurred Moldavi's ire by rejecting the Pacific's application for membership of ACCEL."
Can it really be? Is Moldavi so devoid of ideas that he will imitate those he sees as rivals in the NS stakes?
I suggest this is put to the test. I call on left wing/hippy alliances to invite, then reject mebership by the Pacific. Then we can see if a few days later MOldavi created the "Organisation (of) Lefties, Democrats, Socialist Pacificans In Confederation (and) Equality" - or OLD SPICE, for short.
It has to be worth a shot.
