True, most nations on the top don't go on to forums, but just spend their time with issues and the basics. Not that this is a bad idea compared to doing it as a hobby :unsure:

The ones who get caught up in the emotion of the game tend to leave when something isn't going their way. I'm not criticizing it, I'm just saying that's the way it is. I nearly left invading just because bussiness was slow not too long ago. Now I've got more enthusiasm than I even did before.
 
I can only hope to one day get onto that list. I have a LONG way to go.
unfortunately it has less to do with how old you are but the longevity of the competition. By the time you hit 6 billion, mine would be even further ahead. But if say you hacked into my account and had my nation deleted then you would be one step closer to the top 50.
 
Oddly enough, nations in smaller regions tend to grow in population slightly faster than nations in more populous regions. Then there seems to be certain choices in issues given to nations to decide on that appear to slightly increase population growth. I'd love to see the script that determines poulation growth. ;)
 
Once a nation hits about 1 billion, the mods say the numbers do not increase at any specific rate but instead increase almost at random. They said issues do not effect it.

True. I have some puppets that have been around longer than more populous puppets.

That is a younger nation has about 2 billion more population than a much older nation.
