I guess so? In the sense that I do tend to eat when I'm rather bored (though fortunately that doesn't really show) and I do believe that one of the most content times someone can experience is a full stomach after a delicious and plentiful dinner had in good company.

No! I've been in Niagara Falls and seen the U.S. side from there but never crossed into the States. In fact, until early/mid 2014 I hadn't ever left Canada.
