    North Pacific falling population

Doesn't it say something when a thread as trivial as "I Ride You Decide" gets 20 comments but something as critical as the size of TNP only attracts 6 comments? I don't mean to criticis the humour based threads, it's all about having fun after all isn't it, but the comparison in activity...

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Yes "The Ballad of Reading Jail", it's a hoot with every line isn't it. VP :noangel:

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Well thank you for giving us the benefit of your cutting and acerbic wit Flem, I’m sure you regularly have them rolling in the aisles with your impressions of Oscar Wilde down at your local. VP :noangel:

The only loophole Flem is the one you are talking out of. VP :noangel:

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Not having seen any previous trials I can only draw my experience from this one so it was only reasonable I assumed your smoking gun reference related to this trial. If it wasn't then what are you bitching about Flem? VP :noangel:
  8. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

I'm afraid we will have to agree to disagree as there is clearly no evidence of a smoking gun. Where is the evidence of planning orimplementation of a plot? Where are the mysterious agents of insurrection identified? What indeed was the fabric of the plot? Without these fundamental...

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

The decision to acquit was the right one purely and simply on the grounds that the prosecution did not prove beyond reasonable doubt that Blue Wolf was guilty. Do not criticise the system because of the inept manner in which the case was constructed and delivered. VP :noangel:

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Oh please put us out of our misery and make a bloody decision one way or the other. VP :noangel:

I wont be holding my breathe fa quick resolution either. VP :noangel:
  12. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

I think it would be more than reasonable to set a deadline for prosecutions final questions and summing up now. Failing to meet the deadline should result in the charges being thrown out, prosecution being unable to continue, or the judge making a final decision based on the evidence and...

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

So how long is a no show allowed before the case is thrown out? It seems unreasonable to leave someone with an accusation hanging over their head indefinitely just because the prosecution declines, or is incapable for whatever reason, of continuing the case. VP :noangel:

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

I guess the excitement was all too much for him. Does this mean that the trial has collapsed due to the Prosecution not being in a position to continue the case? VP :noangel:

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Oh the excitement, oh the drama, when will it ever end? VP :noangel:
  16. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

OldBlue does have a valid point there. And isn't it the witess who's holding up proceedings at present by not responding? VP :noangel:
  17. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

The principle of innocent until proven guilty must surely apply. VP :noangel:
  18. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Well I cant disagree with that. VP :noangel:
  19. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Well it's now over a week since the question was asked. Just how much time needs to pass before failing to respond becomes contempt of court? VP :noangel:

Would that be the witness who was asked the question on 31st August? Hope they respond soon as the tensions killing me. VP :noangel:

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Recess, it looks more like the trial has collapsed and no-one has bothered to say as much. VP :noangel:
  22. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Gotcha and I agree so I retract my earlier comment with an apology. The issue here is proving, or not proving, if there was indeed a plot and if so providing compelling evidence which has not been the case so far in my opinion. VP :noangel:
  23. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Sorry but I have to fundamentally disagree Flem, thoughts do not pull people before a virtual court, thoughts do not prevent someone from participating an activity, actions do this through the medium of the internet. By way of example, should BW be found guilty then he could be expelled/barred...

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

I hardly think the two compare do they Sydia. Having the thought, and attempting an act are two very different things as well you know so I find your point, well to be blunt, pointless. VP :noangel:

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Come on Flem that is the whole issue here, when thoughts become crimes then George Orwell's nightmare becomes a reality. VP :noangel:
  26. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

It's all getting very intense isn't it. VP :noangel:
  27. Vaticania Prime

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Mr Sniff, I really do think you need to take a deep breathe and review the conduct of the trial as you appear to be struggling in getting your head around what should be some pretty basic principles. The onus is on you as prosecutor to prove guilt and not on BW to prove innocence. So far your...

The North Pacific v. Blue Wolf II DISCUSSION

Mr Snif, as a wise man once said "When you are at the bottomof a hole it's time to stop digging". You obviously have no idea how a judicial system works do you, so here is a free lesson. Prosecution put forward case. Defence attempts to refute case by either producing contradicting evidence...
