Sometimes I DO mutter nation names to myself while typing. However, recently I was looking at a nation name with no vowels (I forget the name) and I mumbled "I'm not even going to try". :lol:

Welcome to TNP, and I agree with ^. Joining the RA is the way to start your TNP career.

One concern I have about Influence is that it could eliminate otherwise qualified candidates for Delegate/Vice Delegate. I can imagine someone using it in a political campaign "Vote for me because my opponent is a small fish".

I have no idea, but I could make some interesting guesses. :)

Maybe, but a TNP trial wouldn't be my first choice as a way to solve that problem. :lol:

I've just got to say this! I really find it amusing that this trial is still going on AFTER the "death" of the defendent. I always said that people could die waiting on a TNP trial. Of course, in this case, he was burnt at the stake in The Pacific, rather than the expected death of old age...

Maybe not, but it seems to me like a semi-newcomer might have an easier time getting elected than appointed.

If the Pacific trials take as long as the ones over here, he'll have time to learn English, Spanish, Russian, and Arabic! :rofl:

I didn't mean to imply that anyone was (or should be). I was mainly replying to FL's opinion that handing them over to Moo would cause more drama than not doing so. I think the reverse, and I have no objection to some good drama.

It seems to me that the dispute about extradition generates more "drama" than simply handing our people over to Moo would.

I always thought lying about an individual candidate was politics as usual. :P

OTOH, if we DID have two candidates with similar names, a misspelling could be the TNP equivalent to a "hanging chad". :)
