Just as a sidenote, these are certainly arguable points, and it is well within the accused's rights to ask the court to review the circumstances. However, any such appeal must come from the accused and be based on a firm foundation of judicial review. (i.e. It's in Mesian's court now.)

Usually plea bargains require that both parties uphold their ends of the bargain. Whether this was Mesian's fault or not is a whole other issue entirely, but it is undeniable that the terms of the plea bargain were broken. As such, the entire thing could be counted as moot.

I find it funny that the resolution says that it infringes upon national sovereignty...and then goes to claim that some terms are too broad that each individual nation may define it however it so wishes.
