No, other than maybe some advice about the best way to assemble the final product -
You're responsible for internal communication - what is the best format for you, in terms of distributing it to people. Just a forum page, or what? Or anything that can be linked to?
I have a bit of a design...
Personally, I think anyone who volunteers to take one of these positions should be thanked - they don't really come with any power, just more work. Let Govindia (and everyone else) be judged on the job they do or don't do.
Govindia is a long time resident of the region, and is as much part of...
New Cabinet Appointments
Cakatoa agreed to serve as the new Assistant Delegate for External Affairs. Govindia was appointed to the Internal Affairs Portfolio. Yours truly, Greater Peterstan, was appointed by Delegate Grosseschnauzer to handle the Communications Portfolio.

ELECTION NEWS
[spoiler=Click here for the full story]
Note: I will probably hold off on the first update until the elections are over and tallied, so as to provide complete results.
General Election
In the latest round of general elections, Grosseschnauzer narrowly defeated Felasia to...
I haven't settled on the look or format of the next update, but I am working on some text. I'll post what I'm working on here before the final edition goes out. If anyone wants to contribute anything, this would be a good spot too.
Hello - working on my first regional update.
If been looking around at various regional updates - I've seen them done a few different ways - simple forum page, PDF Newsletter, separate website - what does everybody want? What would be easiest to get out to the widest possible audience?
Consulting with offsite constituents, or getting them involved in some way in the CA is a good idea I think, especially as a feeder region. Their take on why they don't get involved here might be informative. How you get them involved is the more interesting question.
The problem, of course...
Question: is this the first example of a political party in TNP? Or is there other history I haven't heard yet.
I'm writing an article for the next Regional Update.
Would you like to join? You didn't even ask if I would sponsor you.
Seriously though. With a relatively small group, we need the mechanism to control comings and goings, so as to not become hijacked. It's no big deal. No one who is sincere about joining will have much problem getting a...
So far we have ... (some of these are my thoughts).
Changes:
1) Electoral / Democratic Reforms (including voting systems and the question of whether RA membership should be required of candidates)
2) Linkage between region-gov't-forum (I'm not 100% sure of what this means, maybe you could...
Nay on moving back to a pointless preliminary discussion.
But I would like to make sure we seriously discuss the possibility of a couple simple amendments, like the one suggested by El. in preliminary discussion, before rushing to vote this through. I'm not sure it will ease Grosse's...
You're right. Much better as a debatable resolution - although that doesn't do the work of cleaning up the text to make it internally consistent, which is more what I was trying to attempt. (foolishly, perhaps.)
It looks like we should hold off on this stuff a little bit anyways- looks like...
Truthfully, Grosse, it wasn't my intention to have this thread turn into a debate - more like a list of things to debate in the future. But the general idea that people outside of the RA should be able to run for election and vote has been been pretty thoroughly discussed already, and should be...
With lots of discussion about reform and change on the horizon, I thought a thread to collect everyone's ideas and priorities might be useful. What stays? What goes? What changes?
My Priority:
1) Democratic and Electoral Reform - (CLICK HERE to see my original proposal, with some great...
Precisely. So it isn't as if we have to start from a blank canvas. Maybe what we need now is a thread for a list of issues people want addressed as part of this process. I will go start one.
The only reason that this is a one-party state is that no-one else has started one yet. But if you have a different perspective, and you share that perspective with others, and you want to assert that position, maybe you should.
Unfortunately, I can't join your Angry Birds party. Greater...
I am in favor of maintaining activity requirements for serving officers of the government, whether it executive, legislative or judicial branch.
I'm not picky on the number - anyone who is committed enough to actually put their name out there for office should be expected to at show up fairly...
For my part, I support this because it forces us all into action with an (admittedly somewhat arbitrary) deadline, and forces us to look at the big picture, rather than simply knocking about a line or two at a time.
That said, there is no rule that dictates that the Constituent Assembly...
I'm going to be away this weekend, so I thought I would start this thread slightly ahead of the formal campaigning period. I can't find anything in the law to prohibit it, so ...
About me:
Greater Peterstan is relatively new to Nation States, having been established only in the Spring of...
In any event, at this stage of the game, I think it is fair to withdraw my request for a legal opinion, seeing as this amendment has been rushed to a vote, over my objections, before this honorable court could render an opinion.
I am happy to say that it seems to be crashing and burning...
