The semi-recent GA rules revision allows more. I think up to 2 or 3 co-authors, but I'd have to look up the exact details there. The listed 2 co-authors are legal.

Agreed. They are trying to use this as an opportunity to shore up their FA relations given poor choices that they've made in the past.
