IMO, Al Homa does raise an interesting point. What is "big"? Awhile back, in another region, someone brought up potential bigshots in NS and mentioned a few names I recognized as Jolt roleplayers. Someone else, a commited gameplayer said "Who? Never heard of them". No doubt some of the...
NS2 is still very immature compared to NS1. Neither game is that good on pure game mechanics, but NS1 became great because the players made it great. I don't have as much of a "feel" for NS2 yet, but I think it has potential once the glitches are fixed, all the features (including war) are...
There's some question about that. I generally consider Romanar or Winter Vacationers to be my most important nations, and neither is in the WA. Active raiders/defenders switch WAs at the drop of a hat, but usually have one nation that they consider their "main".
I have mixed fellings about this.
Frankly, I don't think a nation who pops into TNP for 5 seconds to dump a spam message, should be considered a "citizen". They're just the door-to-door salesmen of NS, and should be legally bootable. JMHO.
I second that opinion. I'm fairly neutral on the Invader vs Defender thing. I've done some of both. But I'm strongly in favor of an active army. Standing armies are a lot more fun than sitting armies.
As far as military tactics and game mechanics go, I don't see much difference between invasion and liberation. Except that liberations are usually harder, because the defenders are up against an alert raider instead of a complacent native.
I don't really know Govinda, but I know his reputation, and I can't see the Taijitu leadership involving him in anything like this. This doesn't smell right.
I see no problem with TP's actions. It's obviously legal, and I can see the temptation to teach annoying adspammers a lesson.
I don't know about TNP doing likewise. TP has always been rather hawkish, so this action isn't that big a surprise from them. I'm in favor of taking back our RMB, but...

Put me in the "GW is bunk" camp. We've had Ice Ages in the past, and we got out of them without SUVs, farting livestock, or even blusterous politicians. Climate changes, with or without our help, and the "science" I've heard for GW is not too convincing.
Considering the winter I had, I'm not...
