The Security Council,
Affirming that when peace fails and conflict is inevitable, responsible and disciplined leaders are essential in avoiding chaos and wanton warfare, and that few have served more competently in this capacity than
ROM;
Recalling their start as a Founderless Region Alliance Ranger and member of the Lazarus Liberation Army, where they were a prolific jumper during successive liberation attempts during the resistance against the New Lazarene Order’s coup of
Lazarus, and where they proudly piled alongside others during the liberation of Anne Frank;
Extolling ROM’s contributions to the defender cause in the following years, where they served in a critical role as a competent, reliable mentor and colleague for recently formed organizations in a new era of defending, successfully countering invasions and liberating occupied regions over the course of more than one hundred operations in five years alongside:
- The Grey Wardens, where they served as one of the first members of the legendary organization’s current iteration under famed defenders like Benevolent Thomas and helped beat back invaders in dozens of operations, most notably the valiant charge to liberate Christmas in 2016 and the thwarting of the invasion of Belgium in 2017;
- The Dragon Knights of Aenaroth, where they brought experience and consistency to legitimize an organization that served as a home to defected raiders and passionate new defenders alongside Red Dusk, and defeated armies that sought to conquer Philippines and Japan; and
- The Rejected Realms Army, where they fought shoulder-to-shoulder with long-time defenders like Frattastan in over fifty operations, including the liberation of Anontia after a multi-day siege, earning promotion to Sergeant;
Particularly impressed with their service in the North Pacific Army (NPA), where they left their largest mark and swiftly rose to Colonel after only six months, utilizing extensive tactical knowledge to lead the NPA in 78 operations, the most of any officer in its history, and ultimately participated in 262 separate operations, the fourth-highest in its history, notably including:
- Successive strikes on Confederation of Corrupt Dictators embassy regions, where ROM served as point, in retaliation for a discovered plot against The North Pacific (TNP);
- Three liberations of Stargate, longtime TNP ally and increasingly frequent attack target by aspiring raiders and enemies alike;
- The destruction of Slatos, a region which directly antagonized TNP, aligned with fascist and shadowy forces, and was responsible for one of the Stargate invasions that ROM and the NPA liberated; and
- World Cleanup, a massive initiative originally conceived by ROM featuring six armies, including the NPA, broken into teams to detag 255 previously raided regions in a single night, a record at the time, relying on a target list curated by ROM and their leadership of the NPA’s team, which provided the most soldiers;
Highlighting ROM’s four terms as Minister of Defense of TNP, which cemented their status as a general in the NPA’s High Command, during which they broadened diplomatic relations with key military organizations in the defender sphere and consistently brought high numbers for training and key joint operations alike, particularly:
- The capture of The Third Coalition and the refounding of The Spartan Empire, two of the many wretched hives of scum and villainy ROM has directly destroyed or assisted in destroying;
- The attempted liberation of South Pacific, notable at the time for its then-record-breaking 90 updaters;
- The occupation of SECFanatics, a fascist-aligned region where ROM’s NPA forces played the most significant role in holding the region and removing the embassies connecting to other fascist regions; and
- The liberation of NationStates Monarchists, where fascist forces were efficiently removed from power;
Praising the versatility of ROM’s military prowess, including a crucial stint as a Potato General in the Alliance of Potatoes during the fifth perennial nuclear conflict, which utilized their expertise in deploying shields and their ability to shield their faction diplomatically through brokering crucial alliances and partnerships that enabled them to survive the conflict;
Impressed by their foray into writing as the author of SC#186, a commendation of Travelling Region for years of dedication spreading goodwill and spurring activity all over the multiverse by sending representatives to offer cookies and refreshments to residents of the regions they visited;
Certain that, time and again, ROM has proven to be a skilled and talented leader on the battlefield and the rooms in which diplomacy is waged, and is one of very few who is a valuable asset and contributor to whichever region or organization they choose to lend their considerable talents;
