The League of Cyffraedin

In the south of Sorras's large eastern continent, a tenuous alliance of Counties, Cities, and Highland Clans persists. Founded in the city of Cyffra (01 Years of the League), the League of Cyffraedin was originally conceived as a defensive pact between the trading cities in the North, before expanding to the rural lords of the South and the Thanes in the Highlands. All these different realms, populated by a variety of cultures, stood together in opposition to the dark creatures that crawled forth from beneath the Highlands, and the evil men that did their bidding.

Today, the threat of this Winged Darkness is gone, but the League is not without trouble. The threats to Cyffraedin are now human in nature; rivalry, war, and betrayal may yet see the end of the League.​
 
Regions of Cyffraedin

The League is split into three main regions, each characterised by their own culture, dialects, and system of governance. In the North, or the Northlands, mercantile city-states hold sway; in the Highlands, familial clans pledge themselves to a Thane; and in the South, or Southlands, the Five Counts rule over large tracts of land, portioned out to lesser lords and knights.
