I actually met David Tennant when he was filming in Wales as the Doctor.
He was in the scene where he is running to meet Rose and then he gets shot by a Dalek.

If I remember rightly, they shot the scene twice.
I met Rose as well - she was quite short.
John Barrowman used to live in Cardiff Bay and used to use the local butchers.
I live just around the corner from where they shot the scene.
They turned the street into a battle zone.
It was truly amazing.
