Statement from the Security Council
Fellow North Pacificans,
The Security Council wishes to inform the region of recent actions taken to ensure the continued functioning of the Vice Delegacy and the fulfilment of required security duties.
Chipoli has tendered his resignation from office. The Security Council thanks him for his service and wishes him well.
In order to ensure continuity of governance and regional security, the Security Council has acted in accordance with the Legal Code and the Security Council Procedures. By consensus, the Council has appointed @Marcus Antonius to assume the duties of Acting Vice Delegate and Acting Chair of this Council. The Security Council asks him to take his oath, and we wish him good luck with his new duties.
We look forward to the special election that will be called now, and wish all candidates who throw their hats in the ring good luck.
