Why We Fight! — An Interview with Gorundu and Robespierre
By Special Crackhead

In the glittering yet battle-worn halls of The North Pacific, few names stir as much passion as @Gorundu and Robespierre. Once at the height of political power — and later cast into exile — the couple has emerged stronger, united not just by love but by a shared mission: to return Gorundu to office, this time as Vice Delegate. As many are asking questions such as “What? why?” and “Are these two still married?” and “how haven’t they been murdered by @Halsoni yet?”, we here at Greitbart decided to sit down and clear everything up.

I sat down with the pair — and their irrepressible pet dog, Rocketdog — for a rare and candid conversation about resilience, redemption, and the unshakable belief that their fight is far from over.

Q: You’ve both been through so much politically and personally. Why keep fighting?

Gorundu: Because we believe in The North Pacific. When I was Delegate, I gave it everything. Sure, we were overthrown, exiled — some thought we’d fade away. But Robespierre and I know that the region is worth fighting for. We want to serve, to help shape its future. And honestly? We believe we still have something to offer.

Robespierre: For me, it’s also about loyalty. I’ve stood by Gorundu through triumph and disaster. I’ve seen the hours he’s poured into this region, the sleepless nights, the endless negotiations. We fight because we care — about each other and about the community that gave us purpose.

Q: What was the lowest point during exile, and how did you pull through it?

Robespierre: Oh, there were days when it felt like we had no allies left. People we thought were friends turned away. But in the quiet moments, when it was just us, we found strength. We reminded each other why we started. We rebuilt from that.

Gorundu: The silence was hard. You go from constant chatter, DMs, cabinet discussions — to nothing. That’s when you learn what matters: the people beside you when the noise fades. Robespierre never left my side. That’s why we’re still here.

Q: Why Vice Delegate, and why now?

Gorundu: The Vice Delegate role is critical — it’s about security, stability, and trust. After everything, I want to help protect what we’ve all built. We’ve learned from past mistakes. I’ve grown as a leader. It’s not about ego — it’s about service.

Robespierre: And frankly, it’s about redemption. We don’t want power for power’s sake. We want to show The North Pacific that even after a fall, people can rise again and contribute meaningfully.

Q: What’s your view of the current Vice Delegate, Halsoni?

Robespierre: Frankly, Halsoni has been an enormous disappointment. There’s been a lack of transparency, a lack of decisiveness, and honestly — a failure to inspire trust. The Vice Delegate role is not just about holding a title; it’s about safeguarding the region and upholding its values. Halsoni has been missing in action when it counts, and The North Pacific deserves better. We need someone who won’t hesitate when leadership is required — and that’s Gorundu.

Q: Some say your political ambitions are just about reclaiming lost glory. How do you respond?

Gorundu: I understand the skepticism. But this isn’t a vanity project. We’ve been tested. We’ve endured. If anything, exile humbled us. I’m running for Vice Delegate because I want to prove that resilience matters, that dedication counts — not because I want a title.

Robespierre: And if it were just about power, we wouldn’t still be here after all the hardship. We’re here because we care.

Q: What’s your message to supporters — and critics?

Gorundu: To our supporters: thank you. You kept us going. To the critics: give us a chance. Look beyond the past and see who we are now.

Robespierre: We know trust has to be earned. We’re ready to do the work.

As we wrap up, @Rocketdog — their exuberant pet — bounds onto the couch, licking Gorundu’s hands enthusiastically. The couple bursts into laughter, the tension of politics momentarily dissolving in a moment of domestic joy. Robespierre leans over, and the two share a passionate kiss, framed by the soft wag of Rocketdog’s tail.

Whether or not Gorundu secures the Vice Delegate seat, one thing is clear: they will keep fighting. For their marriage, for their vision, and for The North Pacific.

Because, as they remind me with a smile, “Why do we fight? Because we love.”

More to come.
