The Security Council,

Appreciating the unassuming and underestimated Siwale, one of the more talented and colorful members of the menagerie of nations which have graced the landscape over the years, and which has carved itself a niche as a defender of democracy and advocate for greater freedom and inclusion through its efforts in The North Pacific;

Sincerely impressed by their quick rise, uncharacteristic for a nation recognized for its sloth, in their home region, where they served as Minister of Home Affairs, Vice Delegate, and finally as Delegate, and famously:

• Drafted and administered the first iteration of the North Pacific Handbook, which introduced nations new and old to the traditions and legal documents of the region and sought to guide them in their continued education and participation in the region,
  
  
• Established an alliance with the authors and artists of Greater Dienstad following a summit that celebrated the most creative minds and the distinct culture of both regions, and set a standard for future such collaborations and diplomatic relationships between TNP and other regions, which to that point were exclusively based on common ground in the political and military spheres rather than the cultural sphere,
  
  
• Expanded citizenship access to the residents of The North Pacific who exclusively favored the public square rather than the separate forums provided for citizens that were often ensconced and aloof from the community at large,
  
  
• Served in a commanding role in the UPPERCUT faction during its most successful performance in a previous nuclear apocalypse, in which it performed the best of all factions involved, and furthered the improvement in relations between the regions involved in the faction despite their historical differences,
  
  
• Mobilized The North Pacific Army in defense of the region St Abbaddon, an operation that was the largest and most significant armed conflict to date, and the largest operation the NPA engaged in since its establishment,

Lauding in particular the success of the Civil Defence Siren, a valuable and essential tool they pioneered which warned nations away from dangerous, fascist regions and which continued to be used and maintained by the regions primarily responsible for integrating new nations into the political community for over half a decade;

Observing their continuous service as the long arm of the region’s law, where they demonstrated their breadth of talent and responsibility, and cemented themselves as a mainstay of the community:

• In helping to organize and support the transition to an entirely new community forum, the first such change in over a decade, and then serving as part of the expanded administrative support team which carried out the modernization and updating of that new forum and continued to facilitate citizenship and key technological resources at a time when administrative personnel declined;
  
  
• In their capacity as a member of The North Pacific’s administrative team, to which they were promoted in recognition for their crucial work post-transition, and which has enabled them to enforce and advance the community norms of the region, including their leading role in updating those norms and community rules to combat pernicious and detrimental misinformation and rising fascism;
  
  
• In their role as one of the longest serving members of The North Pacific’s Security Council, protecting the borders of the region as well as lending their great experience identifying potential threats;
  
  
• And in their service as a Court Justice, where their prior legislative and legal brief experience was put to good use;

Taking stock of Siwale’s vast collection of artwork, quietly and studiously assembled over the years without fanfare or dramatic stunt such that their collection remains among the top 50 of all such art collections; and their role as an art collecting pioneer with tireless support for the arts and similar collections made by others, including regular donation and curation of collections for charity and for posterity, both to individual collectors and the first regional collections sponsored by The North Pacific’s card guild, which set an early example for other collectors and art enthusiasts, and served as a model for other card guilds and organized collection so that the noble exercise would continue in perpetuity;

Hopeful that the example they set as a champion for democracy and freedom, whether as a leading voice in their home region, a vocal and stalwart citizen in Europeia, or abroad in some of the most contentious times the international community has experienced, will guide generations to come; that their story demonstrates anyone can go out on a limb and leave a mark on the world around them; and that there is no limit to the heights one can climb if they decide to start making a difference;

Hereby commends Siwale.
