[Private] Special Election Consequences Thread

My fellow Justices.
After the most recent Special Election, we have found ourselves without our Chief Justice, so, we need to select a new one.
This has been already discussed in the Discord Channel, which logs will be posted in a separate thread, but the result of it has been that I will bear the title of Chief Justice until the end of this term.

Secondly, the second most important decision we need to face now is regarding the Bar Commission. Zyvet's term expired over a month ago, and my own term expired as well. I couldn't, in my right mind, hold both Chief Justice and Bar Commissioner at the same time.

It has been suggested Nutmeg as Court/RA Assigned Bar Commissioner, and here I will suggest Attempted Socialism to be the next Justice Bar Commissioner.

I open the thread to debate.

I suggested Nutmeg and will just quote my reasoning from Discord:

Would Nutmeg be a possible choice for the RA confirmed position? It can look a bit like a consolation prize despite losing the election but they're a fine addition to the TNP legal sphere and I would want to keep them engaged.
On topic of the Bar Commission I will repeat my suggestion of Nutmeg. It's up to RA confirmation so someone who's got some name recognition and experience in the TNP legal sphere is the best choice.

I am already on the Bar Commission as the Delegate's appointee, but I don't think I should keep that seat when elected to the Bench. The setup is not intended for the Justices to keep or appoint all 3 seats, after all. So I had planned to tender my resignation to allow the Delegate to appoint someone, and this fits nicely with taking over the Justice Bar Commissioner seat.

Oh, right, I forgot on that point. But you're right in that point.

Just noting it here for the record, I have offered my resignation to the Delegate and they have accepted it. This is independent of whether I am selected to fill the Justice Bar Commissioner seat, though I am more than willing to take that position.
@Dalimbar what do you think? And how do you feel about Nutmeg as the RA confirmed Bar Commissioner? If we are all good with Nutmeg I would DM them and sound them out about it.

Well, we don't want to get things stalled on one person, so with the majority of the bench on board, I think we can proceed.
