A scaly Saumorian watches as his aide-de-camp leaves him alone with an angry furry Ausar. She marches into the room.
President Vukasin Dawnhowler: What the fuck do you want? I'm packing to leave this cursed place.
President Nomnnom Shauux: Calm yourself. I invited you over for tea-
Dawnhowler: TEA?!!!
Shauux: Over that, I wanted to know some things.
He offers her a cup. She reluctantly accepts. They sit in armchairs facing each other.
Dawnhowler: Fire away so I could go back to minding my own business.
Shauux: What does the Governorate of Administrative Affairs do?
Dawnhowler: It's supposed to deal with the administration of Commission policy, overlaps between portfolios, anything the Commissioners and Governors would happily forget or delegate away to get on with their wretched lives.
Shauux: Your successor suggested this.
Shauux gives Dawnhowler a written sheet of paper.
Dawnhowler: Ah. Lots of the lead pests in her faction. Some from the minor factions, too.
Dawnhowler throws the paper on the floor.
Dawnhowler: You want advice?
Shauux: I don't want to work with strangers.
Dawnhowler: Should've thought about that before convincing the other rulers in the Council elections.
Shauux: I am eager to know about them.

A hairless human, albeit the long growth hanging from her head, is looking up at a grinning Vilgaxian and his tentacles full of datapads.
Hacker: So you are the Permanent Vice Governor of Administrative Affairs?
Permanent Vice Governor: Yes.
Hacker: You carry out my orders?
Permanent Vice Governor: Yes.
Hacker: I represent this Governorate to the Starsean Assembly as its executive. Correct?
Permanent Vice Governor: Of course.
Hacker: I am the Governor of Administrative Affairs. Right?
Permanent Vice Governor: Absolutely.
Hacker: And that makes me the person in charge?

Hacker: Straight forward aren't you?

Permanent Vice Governor: Don't worry, Governor. Your chief of staff will help you get started with your first official visit as Governor.
Hacker: My first official visit?!!
Permanent Vice Governor: After thirty minutes.
Hacker: AFTER THIRTY MINUTES?!!!
Permanent Vice Governor: Also, don't forget your first official speech as Governor to the Assembly. We anticipate a bigger budget next year. President Shauux might be planning on expanding the military. It will take lots of administrative work to accomplish his legislative wishlist.
