The Security Council,

Remembering the stance that this council has previously taken on fascism, declaring it abhorrent in Security Council Resolution #358, as well as helping carry out anti-fascist operations by liberating such regions, opening their gates and allowing fighters implacably opposed to such philosophies to enter,

Aghast at the existence of Hellish Dominion of Abysmal Torment (HDAT), a region which proudly embraces these dangerous ideologies, and then proceeds to occupy innocent and peaceful regions and brand them with the mark of fascism, whilst overloading what was a once quiet and tranquil area for residents to communicate with shameless ads for their region and their vile beliefs,

Understanding that these problems are right at the core of the region, as such ideologies are embraced publicly by the Founder and leader of HDAT,

Appalled that HDAT currently possesses Frontier status, and so has the opportunity to seduce and corrupt new nations with its disgusting ideology, but has installed a password on its borders to attempt to close its gates from the rightful might of anti-fascism,

Hoping that via this resolution, the inevitable and right course of action is no more delayed, and that HDAT is placed under the control of the international community,

Overview
This resolution seeks to Liberate Hellish Dominion of Abysmal Torment (HDAT), a region which the resolution describes as "proudly embrac[ing] fascism", and noting that Security Council has previously passed Resolution #358 ("Advancement of Anti-Fascist Action"). The resolution also condemns HDAT for their supposed antics of "occupy[ing] innocent and peaceful regions and brand them with the mark of fascism."

Recommendation
We abhor fascism, but this region has already been re-occupied by non-fascist elements. The password has leaked and is on the WFE front page of that region. Voting in favour of this resolution is therefore unnecessary.

For the above reasons, the Ministry of World Assembly Affairs recommends a vote Against the at-vote GA resolution, "Liberate Hellish Dominion of Abysmal Torment".

I have decided to vote against this proposal following information received from The West Pacific confirming that they have the password to the region already and intend to shut it down before the vote on the liberation ends. They attempted to do so this update but did not succeed. Voting in favour is therefore unnecessary.
 
As per the Delegate, TNP will vote Against and the MoWAA will issue an Against IFV shortly.

The Security Council resolution "Liberate Hellish Dominion of Abysmal Torment" was defeated 10,433 votes to 1,670.
