The World Assmebly,
Noting the efforts of the target resolution, Consular Rights, to offer diplomatic assistance to citizens abroad;
Noting however that following the passage of GA70X, Consular Protection Arrangements, the rights and responsibilities of diplomatic missions abroad to help their citizens have been expanded considerably and far beyond the scope of the target resolution;
Further noting that as a result the target resolution is serving no further substantive purpose in protecting the rights of citizens abroad;
Hereby repeals the target resolution.
