Updating Discord Roles

I'm not sure if this is a dumb question, but here's the situation:

I joined the Discord server last night when I was just a resident, but this morning I was granted citizenship.

Is there a way I can update my roles on the server so that I get the "Citizens" role?

The bot routinely updates roles. I think twice a day. I've taken care of it though.
