Equilism Completes "Operation Paradise Found" after Six Years
Over seven years ago, the Founder of The United Federation of Planets , The vulcan science academy, ceased to exist, leading to the region becoming a target for raiders. Equilism offered its assistance in refounding the region and provided additional nations to the region to support the refounding process. This was lead by native TUFoP President Andorian imperialist guard who said, "Since the only viable option for any stability for the Federation is in refounding, aware of the dangers, I hereby enact Operation Paradise Found"

The President unfortunately went inactive, as the Operation was slowed by native nations failing to leave the region to allow the refounding to occur as planned. The region remained password protected and inactive.
But only until the Frontiers and Strongholds update of NationStates.
Redshirts, Delegate of TUFoP (aka former Equilism Delegate Small Huts/Cro Magnon of TWP), lead the effort to complete the Operation by guiding the region first to a Frontier, then to a Stronghold with native Admiral Archer becoming the new President (Governor) of The United Federation of Planets.
The region has since removed it's password, opened new embassies, passed it's Charter, established the Federation Council, established it's official forums, and is developing Starfleet Academy as well as reviewing an offer from The Crimson Order's College of Cardinals to provide interim Judicial support. The United Federation of Planets is open and active again.
Operation Paradise Found has been completed successfully. My compliments to everyone who participated in the operation, both then and now. Well done, and Thank You!
The Town Hall Discusses...
Discussion on the possibility of Equilism becoming a Frontier have been set aside for the time being, as King Westwind was concerned about the region's current security provisions. As a result, possible frontiership of Equilism has been postponed.
Additional consideration of amendments to Article 3 of the Township Charter is also pending further discussion. Article 3 concerns the Foundership, which has been altered by the new Game Mechanics and therefore needs to be updated in keeping with the changes that have been made. Previous discussion had been placed on hold pending consideration of Frontiership which would have required additional amendments.
Equilism Resumes Recruitment, and stops
Equilism engaged in telegram recruitment for the first time in.....well, we don't know how long. Years. Many. And the result was such a resounding success that we stopped again. There was no return on our effort. I've got better things to do with my time. So I will.
Equilism hoped that resumed recruitment would add more endorsements to our Delegate Isaris in preparation to become a Frontier. As we gained no new nations, and no new WA's, King Westwind see's little advantage in becoming a Frontier without an active Delegate and Regional Officer team in place with a significant level of endorsements.
Unless we want to quickly be raided, which is not the point of Equilism considering becoming a Frontier.
Equilism Prefers Autumn
The finest statistical analysis available has revealed the seasonal preferences of the nations of Equilism. A solid majority of the region selected Autumn as their favorite season.
Spring - 25%
Summer - 12.5%
Autumn - 50%
Winter - 12.5%
USS Equilism-A Returns From Six Year Mission
Star Trek: Equilism is a popular RP that first ran in Equilism from 2009 to 2016. And as a result, Equilism has sometimes been called 'The Home of Star Trek in NationStates'. Our forum's E-Bar was established in 2004, and one of it's first Bartenders was a Klingon who eventually married then Vice President Tse Moana, who was also a Star Trek: Equilism (ST:EQ) participant.
At the time around six years ago that The United Federation of Planets was holding a conference on their future on the Equilism forums, our ST:EQ was in the midst of an attempted restart. However, like TUFoP, ST:EQ went inactive until this year.
So it was decided on the #holodeck of our Discord server to continue the story, and restart Star Trek: Equilism. The final missions of the original Sovereign class USS Equilism before she was decommissioned are considered to be either lost or classified.
And certainly, it must have been the USS-Equilism-A was on that long six year mission to restore The United Federation of Planets as an open an active region. And having completed Operation Paradise Found, the Equilism-A was also decommissioned having served it's purpose.

The USS Equilism-B, a Constitution III class starship, is now departing Kemaris Station on it's first mission in the Delta Quadrant. With Captain Rhodes on her first starship command, and the experienced Human/Vulcan Executive Officer Lew Harrow, the crew is settling in to their new ship and departing Spacedock while a holographic cat named Chester walks across the Bridge.
