South Pacific Liberated
July 11, 2023
The Liberators played the Raiders today on the historic South Pacific field. The Liberators' lineup for the game included ten TNPers (seven "NPA soldiers" and three "civilians" in the slang of the locals.)
The most exciting moment was the bottom of the ninth inning, with the Liberators ahead 2-1 and the bases loaded for the Raiders. Pitcher Westinor was throwing the fastest pitches ever seen in her career, and sent batter Miravana the ball at 94 mph right into the strike zone. Miravana sent it flying into the outfield.
Just when it looked like the Raiders were going to take the lead at the bottom of the ninth, the Liberators won an incredible triple play, getting the batter and the runners on first and second base out, winning the game on a forced out.
Congratulations to @Kaiser William Fulbright and @Lionsmeow on completing your first operations! I promote you both to Private First Class.
