Equilism Polling Comes to Life
Ingame polling in Equilism started out the year with zero results. You got that right, no votes at all. Not a single one. Equilism has shown for years that it's seriously uninterested in voting on anything.
However, as the year has progressed, voting participation has increased, including a 50% voter interest in Equilism becoming a Frontier in the most recent non-binding poll. 25% suggested the King decide, while the remainder was split between Unsure and Stonghold.
The Governor General Becomes The King of The Realm
Due to changes in NS game mechanics, the title of Governor General was no longer accepted by Regional controls (even though it accepts 'Founder' in other RO titles). As a result, Westwind issued Executive Order #4 that changed his title to his old title of King of The Realm.
Naivetry Declared Successor
With the F&S Update established, the existing co-founders: Whamabama, Westwind, and Chaucerin were appointed as Successors to Founder nation Equility. King Westwind issued Executive Order #5 to add former Founder Naivetry to the Successor list, ensuring all former Founders of Equilism are now represented and listed as Successors.
The Equilism Codex Updated
In the first official action of The Equilsm Town Hall since November 2020, The Equilism Codex has been amended in order to include all Equilism offsite properties, rather than just our forums:
Article 2, number 4
Hacking the passwords of a nation or a region, including off-site forum passwords.
Changes to:
Hacking the passwords of a nation or a region, both ingame and on off-site platforms.
Article 2, number 10:
“Coercion” is hereby defined as “forcing or attempting to force others to act against their will by threats of violence, humiliation or the deprivation of rights and services typically enjoyed by members of NationStates and any associated off-site forum”.
Changes to:
“Coercion” is hereby defined as “forcing or attempting to force others to act against their will by threats of violence, humiliation or the deprivation of rights and services typically enjoyed by members of NationStates and any associated off-site properties”.
The Codex has been updated both in our Dispatch and on our Forum.

The Town Hall Discusses
Currently under discussion in the Equilism Town Hall is the possibility of switching the region to a Frontier. (The pros, the cons, the good, the bad, and the ugly.) As well as amendments to Article 3 of The Equilism Charter that outlines and defines the role of the Foundership, now Governorship, of the region. Potential changes for a Frontier charter are also in consideration.
Former RP Abiter General of both Equilism and TWP Vesica has agreed to lead RP in Equilism and will be providing an outline for the forum RP layout.
The Equilism Forum is Alive
Oh, I didn't mention it? While the old forum database is still unavailable, the Equilism forums are back online. Yes, you'll need to create a new account. Just as TWP did in 2013, Equilism has re-started with a fresh forum. It's a little empty other than Westwind posts at the moment. And yes, your forum Embassy awaits you TNP.
