It's the first day at the office, so Louis Anne-Marie Benevante, the Prime Minister of the newly-form Federal Republic of New Asturia still hasn't truly learned the intricate arts of nation building yet. But made no mistake: He knows how to do war stuff, the war he just fought for 12 years before as a Colonel, then all the way up to Minister of War and Colonies proved that to be true. It just that now the new battle he has to fight is not in the killing field of Badajoz, or on the streets of Barcelona, it's now on the table in an office inside the Palacio de las Cortes. Before the jobs , he has to read a piece of newspaper to truly understand the situation in the nation. The paper said:

A new Asturia, from the ashes of old Iberia
After reforming the Kingdom of Spain, united the Iberian Peninsula, stabilized all autonomous regions, Louis Anne-Marie Benevante, the Prime Minister of the victorious Spain, and all leaders of their respective sides in the Iberian Struggle had gathered together to signed the Treaty of Oviedo, marked the end of the chaotic 12 years crisis that cost over $500.000.000 and 2.000.000 casualty. The treaty stated that:
1. All participants in the conflict, and their respective allies, must ceased all acts of hostility in the Iberian Peninsula.
2. All participants must participate in the formation of the new nation which will supersede all previous and current forms of government in the Iberian Peninsula.
3. The new nation :
3.1. Will be named after the common ancestor of the modern Iberian states, which is Asturias.
3.2. The government of the
New Asturia will be Federal Republic. The main ideology of the nation is Libertarian, Secular, Irreligious, Democracy.3.3. As the Kingdom of Asturias already existed, the name of the country will be New Asturia. Thus the full name will be
3.4. As the new nation is a Secular Republic, the flag will not be the orginal flag with the "Cruz de la Victoria", but it will be
the new flag with the simplified version of the cross, as suggested by the United Kingdom*.The rest of the news is just some minor details about reparation debt applied on the losers, some newly uncovered warcrimes, the shameful secret deals the enemies made with Islamic States and the Commiebloc, and some hardship the people suffered during the war. He wants a good nap in the noon, but the new PM can't rest yet: He needs to make a new constitution, and he need to read it tomorrow (he had abolished the Royal and the President, so nobody can read it for him). He finally go to bed, at 11:00 p.m., after his servants had to dragged him out of the office.
That afternoon, even before the Declaration, news already circulating about the creation of a new unified Iberian states with many unique characteristics. Everyone wanted to read the new constitution, and they are not disappointed.
