Operation Wishing Well: A New Frontier

On the 18th of April, the largest shakeup in NationStates since the implementation of influence went live. The Frontier and Stronghold mechanics are gamechangers for a whole host of communities for a wide range of reasons. But someone had to be first, and despite the devious plans of some, the North Pacific Army were those brave and lucky few who risked it all to take hold of a newly founded frontier and for 12 uninterrupted hours have 50% of all new nation spawns. Truly, the gifts that came from The Wellspring were numerous and well deserved.

Having stumbled upon this soon to be former quiet corner of the world, we invited friends and allies from across NationStates to join us in taking a stroll through its cherry blossom orchard and relaxing in its hot springs, and our friends contributed massively. As well as being the first frontier to spawn nations, the Wellspring also became the first frontier with 100 endorsements on its delegate and the first frontier to have 1000 nations pass through - all in a sustainable and restorative manner, of course.

The future of The Wellspring will be built and decided upon by those who remain there and those who spawn there, joining its community and helping to chart its course forwards, but for now, we'd just like to thank all those involved in this operation, including residents of The North Pacific who also deployed without being members of the NPA and also to encourage anyone who would like to be involved in similar things to join the NPA.
